Vigilante Racing Stable Earns Modular Motor Victory in Virginia

Virginia Motorsports Park in Petersburg, VA was the site of the first Modular Motor Victory for team Vigilante Racing. In the New Jersey makeup race, Jamey goes five rounds, and takes down some of the best Modular Muscle that Fun Ford has to offer, including last year's champ, Robert Hindman. Jamey's win places him in a tie for third place in the extremely tight FFW Modular Motor points race. As the points stand, only 50 points separates the top five competitors. On Sunday, the rains came again, and the Virginia race had to be postponed. The Virginia makeup race will be held in Bristol, TN on Saturday, August 6th. Be there to cheer the Vigilantes on to victory!

April Fools Day Brings a New 'Stang and More Wins to the Vigilante Racing Stable!

Wasting no time, and with the cash from the sale of the convertible burning a hole in his pocket, Loyd arranges to purcase a Pearl Blue 2000 Racing Mustang from Adam Louramore, a Drag Radial competitor from Margate Florida. Adam arranged to have the car delivered to No Problem Raceway, in Belle Rose, LA, where Loyd sealed the deal. Vigilantes on top at the May Car Club Wars!

Vigilante Racing had five cars competing in the May Car Club Wars at HMP this past Sunday.

Chuck ran the "ultra-lite" Mustang with consistent low .5 reaction times (.502 and .503 being the best) and running right on his number! We’re sure we'll be hearing that he made a "perfect run" in the near future. With a .502 reaction time, Chuck earned the right to compete in the President's Race, in which he took the runner-up spot.

Ross brought his new combination to the track and ran strong and consistent. Jamey brought the Menace out added a line-lock to his routine, and bag of tricks. Loyd finished in the semi's in the original eliminator rounds.

The big winner of the day, was Vigilante Associate, Bill Arnett, winning both the Original Eliminator and Jackpot races.

Thanks and congratulations to all those in attendance! With a few more months of this type of turnout, we'll climb that points ladder!

(By the way, keep your eye on the points standings for the CCW!)

Vigilantes "Git 'er dun" in Evadale and the April CCW!

Saturday, Loyd and Jamey won the Pro III and Pro IV index classes in Evadale, in the second installation of the "King of the Strip, Heads-up" Racing Series! The Evadale track is a functioning airport, and as such, is an all concrete track. The personnel are friendly, the food is good, and there were approximately 300 spectators in the stands. This is a track you definitely don't want to miss!

Sunday, Loyd again hoisted the Vigilante banner, when he made an appearance in the Semi-Final round of Original Eliminations, and won the President's Race. We were one, but we made a showing. If you can make it out to the HMP on the third Sunday of the month, you're welcome to join in on the fun.

On tap for this weekend - Super Chevy Show in Ennis, TX and more bracket racing in Sealy.
