Vigilante Racing is a select team of sportsman drag racers based in the greater Houston (Texas) area. Each team member owns and operates his respective car and participates in local bracket racing and heads-up index racing and nationwide Fun Ford Weekend events.

Drag racing is a timed, straight-line acceleration contest over given distance. Organized drag races are usually conducted on an eighth or quarter mile track. Drag strips are located around the world in large and small towns alike. Drag racing gives drivers an opportunity to legally and inexpensively test their reaction time and their cars’ performance in a safe setting. Anyone with a car, and who can drive, can enter a drag race.
